The events
1st time: Early nighttime, mid-June 1979
1st place: My flat at Praterstraße 47/3/3/12, Vienna
2nd time: During the day, April 1985
2nd place: Between the Vienna metro station at Kaisermühlen-VIC and Gate 1 of the VIC
Twice I’ve “taken on” my spiritual body from a past life, being two different past lives.
First time: I was 23 years old. I’d lived in Vienna for exactly one year, so that makes it the middle of June, 1979. I had gone to bed but not to sleep. I suddenly felt myself to be inside, or occupying, my former spiritual body from a long-past lifetime when I lived as a child in a fortified building on a hill. My spiritual body was about five years old. This continues under the next topic.
Second time: I was 28 years old. I was heading to work in the VIC. I had come down the steps of the Vienna metro station at Kaisermühlen-VIC and was just pushing open the door to leave the station. As I did so, I suddenly “took on” my spiritual body from a recent lifetime.
Each event, being “inside my former spiritual body”, lasted about seven seconds.
The feeling of familiarity was very strong. Emotionally, after these seven seconds were over, I was saying, “How could I ever have forgotten this body, this earlier me?!”
I was wearing the same clothes that I had been wearing in those lifetimes. I was very aware of my clothes.
There was no change to my physical body. Nobody around me was aware of what was happening to me.
The takeaways
We don’t lose our spiritual bodies from past lives. Indeed, we don’t lose anything from past lives.
This type of event provides absolute proof that we were that person in the past. We can only “take on” our own spiritual bodies. We can’t take on someone else’s; they can’t take on ours.
We ourselves can’t provoke this event to happen — at least, I know of no way.
Background
In my case, only a very strong trigger can make this event happen. The strong trigger is other people. There’s a whole set of personal circumstances here regarding my triggers — the other people — but I won’t go into those here.
I’m aware of several past lives, these being two of them. My scant memory of past lives has nothing to do with the total review I had when I was 14 (from which I could bring no detail back with me). My scant memory is possible because of the small psychic gift that I have.

Afterword
There is another way to find out if you were a specific person from the past. I discovered this way quite by accident, like discovering penicillin. This other way is entirely within your control, but it might not furnish absolute proof. This other way is José Silva’s hand levitation exercise, using a list of names.
